Each year, usually in February or March, a Dinner is held, open to all setters and to some solvers as well. For all recent dinners, and some earlier ones, a report has been included with the Annual Statistics. Dinner ReportsThese are in PDF format. Select from the table below. Solver Silver Salver and Ascot Gold CupThese are presented at each dinner to the most successful solver and the puzzle adjudged best in the preceding year. Full details are available at the awards page. Dinner MenusSometimes the menu has been subjected to a setter’s skills in design or in wordplay. The following table provides some of these; more will follow soon. The scanning is being experimented with, to find a suitable trade-off between file size and quality. The format is not ideal for printing. See the two later tables if printing is required.
